Is there any cost to complete the “Commons Application”?
There is no cost for completing the “Commons Application” or for any other facet of the application process.
What is the process to become a Candidate?
- Applicants complete the “Commons Application” providing personal information, training, academic credentials, experience, and candidate preferences: grade-level, subject area, willingness to relocate, etc.
- Upon receipt of the application, the team at Classical Commons will review and respond within 1 week.
- If accepted, applicants will be asked to respond to three essay prompts that will accompany their Candidate Profile.
- Candidate Profiles will then be distributed to member schools within the Communities portal.
How will I know the status of my candidacy?
The receipt of the “Commons Application, short essays, and any record updates will all generate confirmation emails from The Classical Commons Team.
