Connecting Talent to Classical Education
Classical education in America is renewing the culture through liberal arts learning, from kindergarten through graduate school. Homeschools, K-12 schools (of various types), institutions of higher education, and other classical programs are developing around the country. More than 500 new schools have opened in the past decade alone, bringing the total to 1500 K-12 classical schools.
Such explosive growth brings exciting challenges—like locating teachers and staff. So, how will the schools find the staff they need? With help from K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions, collectively promoting the need: inspiring, training, and placing the next generation of teachers and staff in local classical communities around the country.
Classical Commons is building an educational network to recruit and train the most talented people, then connecting them with classical schools that best fit their circumstances. Recent college graduates, homeschool moms, mid-career professionals, retired military, and many others are discovering the benefits and fulfillment of working in these communities. Full-time and part-time positions are needed.
