Most thoughtful school leaders are concerned with the esprit de corps of their teams, especially the morale of their teachers. Joshua Gibbs provides a master-teachers perspective on what classical school teachers are looking for from their administrators, including plenty of face time, classroom observations with feedback, leaders who read the classics alongside their staff, principled forms of school discipline, a just administration (that will defend teachers from unjust parents), and the dedication of a comrade in arms.

Currently, Dr. Jackson serves as senior fellow for both Flagler College and the Chesterton Schools Network. He is also associate editor for Principia journal.
